I AM THE VIRUS

 

From a fund of impressions, sketches, photographs, and notes, works have gradually emerged over the past few years that show the effects of climate change in terms of artistic content. They express the relationship of us humans to nature, whether in a loving or destructive way. From this has grown the ongoing series I AM THE VIRUS.

In fall 2020, I spontaneously photographed several people with the I AM THE VIRUS SIGN around their necks. My intention for the campaign was to use the attention of the current pandemic to highlight that we as humans act like a virus to our environment.
